“Jacks Steak Pub” or as previously known “Jack Daniel’s Bar” is a nice Irish whiskey bar in the Old Town of Riga. Located quite near the popular area of “Livu Laukums” with summer terraces, it is a bit off the main streets, hence sometimes it might be difficult to find this place.

Interior is very made in an Irish or British style, perfect for a whiskey pub with slightly dimmed lights, furnished with tables and benches made of the dark Scandinavian wood. Walls are full of pictures of the whiskey making process in an old distillery.

A typical crowd there will be either tourists who want to enjoy a quiet evening in the Old Town, or locals who are after a bit of Irish flavour, whiskey or Guinness on the draught.

They do serve food there, and together with quite good steaks and pork chops, you can find some nice omelettes, pancakes or usual pub snacks like fries.
