“Leningrad” is a very interesting place in the heart of a city centre. It is spending bar over the evening – night time, and a cafe during a day with a very 80s look. The interior looks exactly like an apartment or a room from the Soviet past: you see some old furniture, stereo, TV and pictures on the walls. We especially loved some old skis in the corner. Fantastic! It’s almost like getting a time-machine to the past. Book-shelves are also full of real books books from Soviet times. And how about old portraits of Lenin!

“Cafe Leningrad” is always hosting various live concerts and music events every now and then, so feel free to drop by even during the week-days. It’s a lot more relaxed, giving you a chance to talk to locals. DJ events, literary meetings and art events provide the necessary spice to keep you coming back time and again.

Drinks are quite well prices, and you can always find the local brew “Brengulu” on the tap as well as quite popular Czech beer “Kozel” (they have a dark version too for those who knows it). Prices are in a range of 2-3 EUR for a pint. Check out the website for more details on current and upcoming events.

Food is pretty good too, and a large range of something to chose from make it a perfect spot for lunches if you happen to be in that side of the town.
